Welcome to my blog. This is the site for all my studies for the course – learning and digital cultures.
This course is about some of the ways in which digital cultures intersect with learning cultures online. Alongside a broad understanding of some of the most engaging perspectives on cyberculture in its popular and academic forms, we’ll be considering how our practices as teachers and learners are informed by the difference of the digital.
I am passionate about adult education, widening participation in lifelong learning, developing effective e-learning and e-pedagogical strategies to promote wider access to lifelong learning. I am interested in using Web 2.0 applications with a wide range of learners. I believe the dynamic social element of social networks can stimulate learners.
Although this blog is primarily for the university course, I welcome comments from anyone who shares an interest.
Cheers
