I have found the readings for this week really interesting, Kress I found a little hardwork, but non the less thought provoking. One of the main themes that emerged for me this week and caught my interest the most was that of Transliteracy and lifeworlds in Sue Thomas et al “Transliteracy: Crossing divides”. It was this particular paper that inspired me to look at the same topic for my artefact (see week four artefact posting). The Thomas’ et al article explained the concept very well and I went on to look at Youtube videos of her presentations for further understanding of the theme.
I feel that I am progressing with my Lifestream as I get to grips with remembering to twitter all my course thoughts and to document any of my research as I go along in the form of bookmarking. I look forward to feedback from Jen to see how I am doing and where I can improve!
