information about a research project

The MSc in E-learning programme team are actively researching in the fields of education and technology. The benefits of taking a research-informed approach to learning and teaching are significant, and doing so enables us to keep this programme relevant, up to date and of high quality.

This semester, Silvana di Gregorio is part of the “Student writing: innovative online strategies for assessment and feedback” project being undertaken by members of the MSc in E-learning programme team: Jen Ross, Sian Bayne, Hamish Macleod and Clara O’Shea. As well as participating in this course as a student, Silvana will be keeping ethnographic field notes of her experiences of assessment and feedback on the course. Access to these notes will be restricted to the project team and other research associates, and any extracts from course discussion will be fully anonymised.
