I have an 1985 Ford Bronco II. It has a 2bbl motorcraft carb that we just rebuilt. Whe we start it, fuel pours out of the vent holes on top and we think it runs though a vacuum tube on front of it. Could it possibly be to much choke, or something else?TransAmLuvr (1 month ago)
Blaine…….sounds like you have a stuck float assembly or a float that is adjusted too high, in other words it isn’t cutting off the fuel supply when it should, thereby flooding the bowl and forcing fuel out wherever it can.

While most of Davidsfarm how-to videos deal with understanding and repairing car parts and mechanics, he has published a few on other topics such as ‘How to make good YouTube videos’

I watched this straight through. Some good ideas. A very good last paragraph, about your sons. Our interest levels vary. I’m looking for new, short art-film. 100% original, including music. That ’s the goal I try to reach. But we learn how to actually film along the way. good tuturial. You’ve my subscription

This was great. Y’all just got a four year NYU Film School education in 12 minutes. And you saved the $120,000 tuition in the process. Dave deserves your gratitude.

documentrys are usually boring, but you have to learn
Commentary
These videos are quite different from the crazy car stunt videos in that they are very detailed and precise and show that Dave is very knowledgeable in these areas. If I were to pursue this ethnography I would try to see if these videos were attracting an older age group – although it would be hard to tell from the profiles as to how reliable that information would be. Again there is evidence of a virtual community through shared interests. Many fans record how useful these videos have been to them and how they followed the advice given e.g. buying a used car, how it gave them good ideas. Also fans ask questions (as illustrated in the carburetor fragments above) which other fans answer. However, these videos do not have the same high level of views as his other videos have and are a turn off for some of his fans – being criticized as being boring. The reference to Dave’s sons in one of the comments above is the statement Dave made at the end of the video -
I went on YouTube for one sole purpose, mostly: one, I enjoy making videos, I always have but really it was to get in contact with my two ‘stolen’ sons.
This is an example of a personal element Dave introduces in his videos from time to time which I think is his way of gaining a rapport with his fans. In a similar way he often pans the video so you see his cats or the dog, Wolf.
